new formulation provides high temperature corrosion resistance on steel and
cast iron substrates.
It is a single part coating system that
is supplied in a ready to use viscosity of
2,800-4,500 centipoises (cP) and solids
of 51.5% by weight and is applied using
conventional spray equipment, drying
to a typical film thickness of 2-3 mils.

Geogard Lo Base Coat from Republic
Powdered Metals, Inc., is a high solids,
highly elastomeric, low VOC, low odor,
aromatic urethane basecoat. The
Geogard Lo Base Coat is a single component product applied in one coat as the
waterproofing layer for the Geogard
Restoration System. The system is a two-coat process; the Lo Base Coat, once
cured, is top-coated with Geogard Finish
Coat. The result is a waterproofing system with a reflective surface that can
lower surface temperatures, increase
roof life and lower energy costs.
