SE Tylose has appointed GMZ and EW
Kaufmann as regional distributor partners for the Tylose product line of cellulose ethers. The complete portfolio
of Methyl & Hydroxyethyl cellulose
ether grades as they relate to paint polymerization and other industrial markets (excludes personal care / HI&I) will
be managed by EW Kaufmann in the
Northeast and by GMZ in the Midwest
and Ohio Valley.
In the CASE market, GMZ and
EW Kaufmann join the other two divisions of KODA Distribution Group,
namely Ribelin Sales and P. T. Hutchins
in representing SE Tylose. KODA
Construction Solutions will continue
to represent SE Tylose nationally for
the Construction market.

Azelis to Distribute
Myriant’s Bio-Succinic Acid
Myriant Corporation, a global renewable chemicals company, has announced
the signage of a distribution agreement
with Azelis Group, a specialty chemicals
distribution leader. Azelis is now distributing Myriant’s bio-succinic acid in the
Nordics, Benelux, France, Iberia, Italy,
the United Kingdom and Ireland, targeting customers in the industrial and base
chemicals markets.

carbonate (PPC) polyols in Germany.
Azelis Extends Contract
with Allnex
Azelis has announced that it will extend
its co-operation with Allnex, a leading
manufacturer of performance materials
for all coating applications.
For the first time, Azelis will offer
the complete range of Allnex liquid resins, additives and cross linkers across
Germany and Austria for selected customers. Previously Azelis only distributed
part of the product range in Germany.
CI Capital Partners Acquires
Maroon Incorporated
CI Capital Partners, a New York-
based private equity firm, and Maroon
Incorporated, which has changed its
name to Maroon Group LLC, recently
announce that an affiliate of CI Capital
Partners has acquired a majority inter-
est in Maroon, a North American dis-
tributor of specialty chemicals based
in Avon, Ohio. Maroon’s management
team retains a significant equity interest
in the company.

Sythomer LLC, as a national distributor

WACKER Extends
Partnerships with IMCD and
NRC in Germany
WACKER has extended its distribution
partnerships with IMCD and NRC Group
for its HDK pyrogenic silica products in
Germany. The IMCD-Group-affiliated
chemical distributor IMCD Germany
and the Georg Nordmann Holding AG’s
affiliated Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH
will replace previous distribution partner
Brenntag Germany. IMCD already is a
WACKER partner for several market segments in Western and Eastern Europe, as
well as in South Africa, India, Australia,
and New Zealand. IMCD will extend its
current WACKER product portfolio to
include HDK pyrogenic silica products
in Germany for personal care, nutrition,
plastics, sealants, adhesives and silicone
elastomer applications.
