Additional sustainable features that Hytrol offers to help keep your company “carbon footprint friendly” are
our zero-pressure conveyors. They have a built in EZLogic® feature that allows the conveyor to fall “asleep”
thus reducing energy used to drive the tread rollers. Also, in 2009, Hytrol has upgraded all of our standard
motors to improve efficiency. These new standard drives use less energy but are also inverter duty allowing
the conveying speed to be optimized for needed carton rates without constantly operating at energy wasting
speeds at non-peak times.
Other innovations that continue to ensure Hytrol’s cutting edge and sustainable business model are achieved
through our Lean Manufacturing process. For almost a decade, Hytrol has rigorously adhered to the Lean
principles to streamline it’s manufacturing process by producing less waste and scrap while continuing to
provide the cutting edge technological products that Hytrol is known for. Also, within the facility, three laser
cutters, a powder paint system, airflow improvements and new “green” lighting greatly assist in furthering
Hytrol sustainable “footprint-friendly” directives.
