; Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., has promoted several
members of its management team. Mark Steenrod, who
has been with the company since 1984, has been promoted to national dealer development manager. He was most
recently sales support manager. Also promoted was Jewell
Brown to national fleet sales and operations manager. She
previously served as parts dealer support supervisor and
manager of customer satisfaction. And Payman Shabbak
has been named national strategic planning and pricing
manager. In his new job, he will oversee Toyota’s pricing
structure, incentives, long- and short-term planning, and
strategic initiatives.
; Wynright, a material handling equipment
manufacturer and integrator whose brands
include Automotion Conveyors, has
launched Wynright Control Solutions. This
realignment consolidates the resources of
its former technology companies, Triad
Controls and AutoExec SDG, with the elecers from the Automotion Systems Group.
Together, they form a single, unified provider of turnkey control services. John Dillon has been named president of
Wynright Control Solutions. He has been with Wynright for
the past 15 years in various engineering and managerial
positions.

; Fortna has added two industry veterans as account executives within its sales team. Dan Kremers brings over 20
years of experience to Fortna. He most recently directed system sales and engineering for Distribution Planning Inc.
Steve Schwietert also brings extensive material handling
and systems integration experience to his new role. He
served most recently as vice president of integrated solutions
for Advanced Handling Systems.
; Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS), which operates
an all-plastic pallet rental service, has appointed John Fletcher
to its board of directors. Fletcher, a former Brambles Ltd. CEO,
has 27 years of experience in the pallet industry.
; Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. George William Wells has
joined Banneker Industries as a government logistics specialist and a member of the company’s Strategic Advisory
Board. In his new role with Banneker, a company that provides third- and fourth-party logistics management solutions,
Wells will be responsible for work relating to government
contracts. During his 35-year military career, Wells served in
a range of logistics roles, most recently as assistant deputy
chief of staff, G- 4 for mobilization and training.
; Larry Strayhorn has joined TGW-ERMANCO as president. He succeeds Leon
Kirschner, who will continue as CEO to facilitate the transition. Strayhorn, who has over
30 years’ experience in the material handling
industry, has served in management roles at
Diamond Phoenix, Rapistan, Demag, and
Eaton-Kenway. He is also the current vice chairman of the
Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA).

; Flash Global Logistics has hired Alexandre Dias Cecolim
as global director, engineering and product development. He
brings to his new role 12 years of experience in logistics solutions design, analysis, and management. Flash Global provides inventory management and supply chain solutions for
clients in 55 countries.
; Dan Gardner has joined ATC Logistics & Electronics as
vice president, business development. He comes to ATCLE
from Trade Facilitators, a supply chain consulting and training
company. ATCLE provides third-party logistics and supply
chain services for the wireless, broadband, electronics, medical, industrial, and automotive industries.
; Systems Material Handling of Olathe, Kan., has appointed Ed Louis regional manager of business development-Midwest region. Based in the Chicago area, Louis will draw
on his extensive experience in parts management and sales
to develop the company’s aftermarket parts business.
; Bill Harvey is the new director of logistics engineering at
ChemLogix, a provider of logistics management and technology services to the chemical industry. In his new job,
Harvey will help customers find ways to save money in their
logistics processes.
; Akro-Mills, a manufacturer of bins, totes, and storage containers, has announced several changes to its management
team. Laura Manson has been promoted to new product
development manager. Susan Lewinsky has joined the
company as industrial products manager.
; Kenco Logistic Services has promoted two of its executives. Andy Park has been elevated to senior vice president,
operations. He is responsible for managing 1. 4 million
square feet of warehouse space and over 1,000 associates in
10 facilities. Also promoted was Dean Arnold. In his new
role as senior vice president, public operations, Arnold now
handles over 4 million square feet of space in 15 facilities
located throughout the United States.
