; Fred Schardt has been promoted to president and CEO of
FedEx Trade Networks, the global freight forwarding arm of
FedEx Corp. Schardt, who joined the company in 2008, is
now responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of
FedEx Trade Networks as well as its global operations and
product portfolio.
; TranSystems Corp., a supply chain and transportation consultant, has hired John Nussrallah as vice president for its
Fort Worth, Texas, office. Nussrallah comes to his new job
from the Thomas Group, where he served as both senior vice
president and practice leader for the transportation and logistics sector. In addition, TranSystems has hired Mitsuko (Mich)
Mizushima as vice president of business development for its
San Francisco office. Mizushima has more than 28 years of
international supply chain management experience.
; Craig Wilensky has joined Knighted Computer Systems
as executive vice president and partner. Wilensky will head
up sales and marketing efforts for Knighted, a developer of
supply chain execution software.
; Victor F. Escudero has joined Arsenault
Associates as director of business development and regional accounts. In his new position with Arsenault, which markets the
Dossier line of fleet maintenance management software, Escudero will work with customers in the Northeast United States and internationally.

; The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors
(NAW) has named Alan Beaulieu, president of the Institute
for Trend Research, as its senior economic adviser. Beaulieu
has provided an annual economic forecast at NAW’s
Executive Summit for the past three years and will do so
again at NAW’s 2010 Executive Summit next January.
; Robert Oliver Jr. has been named international traffic
manager of TBB Global Logistics, a third-party supply chain
management firm. Oliver’s primary role will be to manage
TBB’s relationships with international agents and carriers. He
brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry to
his new position.
