Web-hosted WMS: Daifuku America’s eWareNavi WMS is a full-fea-tured and highly configurable warehouse management system (WMS) for fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments. The software, which is offered on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis, is designed to direct equipment and people simultaneously, while providing control, flexibility, and visibility of warehouse inventory operations.

Sizing up the carbon footprint: Damco has introduced a carbon footprint tracker called the Supply Chain Carbon Dashboard. The new tracker is designed to help customers execute their carbon strategies by providing a graphical representation of the carbon emissions associated with their supply chains.

According to Damco (the new combined brand of A.P. Moller-Maersk Group’s logistics divisions), the dashboard displays carbon emissions on a detailed level—for example, by transportation mode or by product.
