; Crowley has promoted Eric Evans and Tony Otero to the
role of vice president, finance and planning, supporting different business groups. Evans will support Crowley’s technical
services, petroleum services, Alaska petroleum, distribution,
and marine contract services business groups. Otero will support Crowley’s liner and logistics business units. Crowley, the
holding company of the 118-year-old Crowley Maritime Corp.,
provides diversified transportation and logistics services.
; Ultra Logistics, a third-party logistics service provider, has
appointed Barry Alexander vice president of sales.
Alexander brings 20 years of transportation industry experience to his new position, including stints at FedEx Ground
(then RPS) and Landstar System.
In addition, the company has hired Raymond Martinelli
as a regional manager. Martinelli brings more than 18 years
of experience in the transportation industry to his new posi-
tion. He was most recently with Ryder System, where he was
responsible for managing logistics and operations. He also
served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a battalion logistics chief.
; Kenco has promoted Jeff Tanner to vice president of safety and security at Kenco Management Services (KMS).
Tanner has been with Kenco since 1999, serving most
recently as director of corporate safety and security.
; Mark Dalley has been appointed COO at Internet
Truckstop, a Web-based freight matching service. Dalley, who
joined the company in August, will take over responsibility for
the day-to-day operation of the business.
; Echo Global Logistics has hired Michael Mobley as senior vice president of operations, and Marty Sinicrope as vice
president of station sales. Mobley comes to Echo from
Omron Healthcare, where he served as vice president of supply chain. He brings more than 20 years of operations, supply chain management, and software implementation experience to his new role. Sinicrope most recently served as senior vice president of QWExpress. He comes to Echo with 20-
plus years of experience in transportation operations, pricing,
procurement, and sales and business development.
