A new voice: Voxware, a developer of software
for voice picking and other warehouse operations, has announced that version 4.0 of its
Voxware 3 product is now available. Version
4.0 includes an expansion of the Enterprise
Voice Manager, which is part of the Voxware
Adaptive Voice Framework.
The enhanced system enables customers to
deploy and manage voice picking applications
from a single version of the software in a central data center, across many warehouses, even
when warehouse layouts vary and voice workflows differ in each facility. As a result, customers can keep the same Voxware systems in
place even if they decide to move back and
forth between centralized and decentralized
management of their voice solution.
In addition to the Enterprise Voice Manager,
version 4.0 includes many functional enhancements to order picking, replenishment, and put-away applications. (Voxware, www.voxware.com)
