Dear Colleague,
This past year has been one of tremendous growth and transformation for UniCarriers Americas. We
have unified our branding, building awareness in the marketplace and are becoming the first choice
for forklift owners seeking out reliability and maximum uptime for their operations.
This rapid growth will only gain momentum with the pending acquisition by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries,
Inc. Once completed, UniCarriers will be part of a group with combined forklift sales that will rank #3
in the world.
While remaining an independent channel and brand, this new partnership will allow us to bring
forklift owners access to unsurpassed global engineering, design, research, and manufacturing
resources— all delivered through our established, comprehensive dealer network. But that is only a
beginning:
• As an American manufacturer, we are maximizing the capacity of our Marengo, IL
facility to rapidly bring homegrown equipment and technology to the marketplace.
• We are expanding our footprint across the Americas, with a greater presence
in Central and South America.
• We are introducing exciting new products to the marketplace—like our new
4,500 lb. capacity WLX Series walkie pallet truck that offers businesses
unmatched performance, maneuverability and quality.
• We are building an ever-stronger partnership with our strengthened dealer
network to not only deliver the best equipment, but also the best possible
aftermarket service and support.
• We will continue to offer our 2-Year/Unlimited Hour Warranty—still the industry’s
best standard, limited warranty.
It is all part of our ongoing efforts to create an ever more robust and agile organization. Our mission
is a simple one: to offer our customers a truly reliable and remarkable experience. One that will drive
the success of our business and theirs.
This past year was, indeed, a year of growth and change.
And, yet, we’re only getting started.
Best Regards,
