Myers Quad Solves the Problem

added to the arsenal of designs that have
been engineered and manufactured by
the company. An explosion proof,
purged control panel was supplied with
the unit that operates and manages all

QUAD-SHAFT MYERS MIXER MODEL 550/800/800EH – 250 GAL.
MULTI-STAGED AXIAL BLADES CREATE A HOMOGENOUS MIX IN RECORD TIME.
Myers Engineering, Inc. has just shipped the workhorse of all times.
This beautiful, quad-shaft unit handles a heavily filled paste with
virtually no flow characteristics. The final stages of the mix cycle
require blending in one minute’s time to avoid damage to the final
product. The mixer will work in conjunction with a jacketed tank and
ram press supplied by Myers.
The mixer is configured with a
slow speed sweep blade and 3
high-speed shafts. Each high-speed shaft has an open axial
pumper blade and a disperser
blade.
The open axial blade is a specially designed paddle blade that
pushesthetankcontentsdownward-Increasingproduct
circulation to minimize mixing time.
The machine is operated via a purged NEMA 4 control panel
including start/stop push buttons, speed potentiometer dials,
amperage and shaft RPM meters for each shaft, temperature
readout, up/down hoist control and an emergency stop.
Both European and American companies competed for the
privilege of producing this workhorse that will no doubt be in
