EcoVadis evaluates companies’ sus-
tainability performance in terms of
the following four categories: environ-
ment, labour practices, fair business

With its current score of 66 points,
Brenntag is significantly above aver-
age in the industrial sector in which
EcoVadis categorizes the company
( 42.2 in October 2016), and is among
the top 2 percent of all the companies
assessed in around 150 categories
Since October 2014, Brenntag
has been involved in “Together for
Sustainability” (TfS), and with this
result has met all of the admissibility
criteria to become a full member of the
industry initiative – so far only chemi-
cal distributor. TfS is aiming to develop
and implement a global audit program
to assess and improve sustainability
practices within the supply chains of
the chemical industry.

Azelis Americas CASE market segment
has announced the merger of GMZ and
EW Kaufmann into one entity, GMZ, to
be led by Tom Wells, president, GMZ.

Azelis Americas CASE to better serve
our customers, our principals and our

Julian will continue as VP of Sales for
GMZ’s eastern region, reporting to
Rocky Prior, who has been promoted

completed the sale of its Emerald
Specialties business group to DyStar
LP. Emerald Specialties includes
Emerald Hilton Davis, Emerald
Carolina Chemical and Emerald Foam
Control with sites in Cincinnati, OH,
Charlotte, NC and Cheyenne, WY, respectively. Terms of the transaction
were not disclosed.
