The big picture
SUPPLY CHAINS ENCOMPASS A BROAD RANGE OF ACTIVITIES AND
technologies, from manufacturing and warehousing to distribution and logistics. All of those and more will be on display Feb. 6–9, 2012, when Atlanta’s
Georgia World Congress Center hosts the inaugural Modex Show, one of the
largest expositions for supply chain solutions in the Americas.
Modex will offer visitors unprecedented access to supply chain efficiency solutions, learning opportunities, and information by showcasing the products and
services of over 500 exhibitors. The show’s organizer, the Material Handling

industry associations and academic institutions,
which will collocate educational events with
Modex 2012 to provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn more about managing the supply
chain. Examples of these association, government, and academic partners include the Association for Automatic
Identification and Mobility (AIM), the Council of Supply Chain Management
Professionals (CSCMP), the Georgia Institute of Technology Supply Chain &
Logistics Institute, the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), the U.S.
Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration, and the

Conference and Expo in Las Vegas will
feature pre-conference workshops followed by a two-day conference and
expo highlighting best practices and

The state of Georgia will hold its
Fourth Annual Georgia Logistics
Summit at the Georgia World
Congress Center in Atlanta. Speakers
from six industries will share their

NAVIGATING THE SHOW FLOOR
For ease of navigation, the 150,000-square-foot show floor will be divided into
three solution-specific centers: Manufacturing & Assembly Solutions,
Fulfillment & Delivery Solutions, and Information Technology (IT) Solutions.
Exhibitors from across North America will be on hand to showcase the following technologies and services:

28th Annual National Logistics
Conference and Exhibition, to be
hosted in Miami by the National
Defense Industrial Association. The
conference brings together senior-level logistics policymakers in government and private industry.
