DAT (originally Dial-A-Truck) Solutions has
created a transportation management system
(TMS) for entry-level freight brokers.
DAT Keypoint Ops is designed for brokers
who want a simple operations system that
places the most commonly used dispatch
functions on a single screen. Brokers can
enter information about the shipper and
freight, and dispatch a truck. From the same
screen, they can send a rate confirmation to
the carrier, confirm pickup and delivery, and
print and send an invoice to the shipper.
The amount of time needed to become
efficient using Keypoint Ops is a fraction of
the normal TMS setup time. The minimal
training required can be accomplished online
on a self-paced basis.
DAT Keypoint Ops is a Web application sold
on a monthly subscription basis, starting at
$100 for the first user and $35 per additional
user. DAT Keypoint Ops interfaces with all
major loadboards including DAT Power, as
well as DAT RateView for lane rates guidance.
When needed, customers can upgrade to
the full DAT Keypoint TMS, with integrated
operations and accounting functions, and

machine. At $475 a unit, the new inflatable packaging system provides a space-saving, cost-saving, and environmentally friendly alternative to using polystyrene peanuts as void-fill and cushioning. The system, the newest addition to Sealed Air’s
Fill-Air inflatable packaging line, is available exclusively in the U.S. from Millennium
Packaging.
The compact Fill-Air Flow unit mounts to a wall or tabletop and produces 11
