The U.S. Postal Service has promoted
Pranab Shah to vice president and managing director, global business. Shah previously had been executive director of global business strategy and technology. He succeeds
Paul Vogel, who recently retired.

Ken Allen has been promoted to chief executive officer at
DHL Express. He has also been appointed to the company’s
management board. Allen, who has held a number of positions within DHL since 1994, most recently served as CEO of
DHL Express USA.
Kenco Logistic Services has promoted three of its executives to vice president of operations, with management
responsibilities for particular accounts and/or facilities. The
first new VP of operations, Paula Hise, will lead the GSK
Consumer Healthcare network. The next, John Lamb, will
lead the Whirlpool LDC network. The third, Greg Boring, will
manage the Whirlpool RDC & FDC network and the
Honeywell Louisville site.
Valerie Bonebrake has joined Tompkins Associates as
senior vice president of global supply chain services. She
comes to the firm from YRC Logistics, where she was executive vice president. Before that, she spent 19 years working
for Ryder.
RailAmerica has hired a new vice president and promoted two other senior executives. Gabe Lazzaro joins the rail
company as the new vice president of human resources.
Sachi Mishra has been promoted to vice president of operations finance. And Carolyn Stefanic has been promoted to
assistant vice president, transportation logistics center, revenue protection center, and systems.
Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport
temperature-control systems, has named
Doug Lenz director of product management.
He will handle products for the company’s
trailer, truck, and auxiliary power unit (APU)
lines. Lenz had previously worked for
Thermo King from 1993 to 2007.
