Versatile conveying: Westfalia Technologies Inc. has introduced a
full line of innovative specialty conveyors constructed of either mild
steel or stainless steel for durable, long-lasting performance. With
their standardized designs, the conveyors can be easily integrated
with other material handling equipment and can be adapted to the
customer’s specific needs.
Air chain accumulation conveyors transport loads of up to 3,500
pounds (up to 2,500 pounds in minimum-duty operation), with a
minimum weight of 300 pounds. They handle virtually any pallet
in any orientation, including CHEP, GMA, and Euro-pallets, but
excluding plastic slave boards. The air chain accumulation conveyors are available in roller or wheel styles.
Pallet dispensers handle pallets stacked 15 high, with full-height
side guides up to 8 feet. With a standard speed of two pallets per
minute, the dispensers are totally electric, providing stability in the
lift and ease of maintenance.
Slip-sheet dispensers can load slip sheets in either direction for
40- or 48-inch face leading on the conveyed pallet at a standard
speed of two pallets per minute. Able to handle various pallet
sizes, including CHEP and GMA, the slip-sheet dispensers have a
24-inch load height capacity, including pallet.
Turntable conveyors are circular conveyors that have flexible turning up to 180 degrees without pinch points. The standard model
handles up to 3,500 pounds and has a minimum height of 18
inches, a diameter of 72 inches, and speeds of 40 feet per minute.
Westfalia also offers bag flattener conveyors, in-line knock down
turner conveyors, and more than a dozen types of bag handling
