TKO Doors has introduced a transparent dock
door panel to help warehouses and DCs
reduce their energy
costs while increasing
visibility to the outside.
The TKO Clear
Vision Panel is 21 inches high and runs the
full width of the door
to allow in sunlight
and enable DC personnel to monitor truck traffic. The viewing
portion of the panel consists of a double section of 1/8-inch thick polycarbonate bonded
to a rugged fiberglass tubular frame.
As with other panels used in TKO doors,
the Clear Vision Panel is designed to resist
damage from material handling vehicles, the
manufacturer says. TKO doors are designed to
separate from their guide tracks when hit by
a forklift or staged product, preventing damage to the door, energy loss, and possible
dock traffic backups. Resetting the door after
impact is quick and easy, requiring only a simple pull of the separated panel back into the
door track.
The door panels ride along a V-grooved
track on retractable plungers. When the door
is hit, the plunger slides out of the track,
releasing the panel unharmed. (TKO Doors,

Sage ERP X3, v. 6.2: Sage North America
has announced the release of Sage ERP X3,
v. 6. 2. Sage ERP X3 is a full-service enterprise
management software system for global
mid-market companies. It is designed to support the most elaborate business processes,
