Painted-parts cart: Creform Corp. has designed and built a cart
that helps manufacturers keep painted parts scratch-free and
mar-free when the parts need to be delivered from a paint room
to an assembly area. The cart is designed to hold small batches
of parts on two sides of the cart. The open design makes all
parts visible, assisting in visual inventory management, which is
particularly useful when parts in a mix of sizes and shapes are
being conveyed.
For damage-free handling, each of the shelf levels features
two cantilevered bars (pins) that extend out from both sides of
the cart to safely and securely hold the parts. The pins feature an
end-stop that prevents the parts from sliding off the cart during
transport.
The cart features five adjustable shelves, all in a comfortable
ergonomic position. The design of the cart makes it easy to add,
remove, or reposition shelves. It has four three-inch-diameter
swivel casters for easy positioning and maneuverability, two of
which are casters that lock. The casters’ swivel feature allows the
cart to be easily rotated in order to fill one side once the other
is full.
Creform is able to custom configure the dimensions of the
cart with its system of metal pipe and joints. The modular design
allows the user to configure the cart to its needs and to change
it when demand changes.
Optional accessories include hanging hooks, paperwork clips,

Solutions has expanded its
line of portable thermal bar-code printers with the introduction of the B-FP3 series
of high-speed ( 6 IPS) three-inch receipt and receipt/label
models.
The light, compact, and
rugged printers operate in extreme temperatures, have IP54
dust protection, and have splash-proof ratings with drop-resis-tant durability for use in any environment. The printers feature
high-capacity media for up to 560 labels or 183 feet of receipts,
reducing the need for frequent media changes, while an adjustable media guide provides users with the flexibility to print
receipts and labels ranging from 0.94 to 3.125 inches in width.
The B-FP3 series was designed for demanding and high-pro-duction environments in transportation and logistics, retail,
manufacturing, and field-service operations. Color LCD displays
enable clear visibility of battery levels and printer and connection
status. Toshiba’s printers implement built-in Wi-Fi and USB or
Bluetooth and USB connectivity and are capable of pairing with
NFC-embedded devices such as smartphones, handhelds, and
