authors agree that the situation bears watching. “It’s not that we’re going into a recession necessarily, but the rate of growth has
significantly slowed,” said Zachary Rogers,

another study author. “We don’t know yet
if it will just flatten out or continue to drop,
but this does look like what it’s like before a
recession. Put another way, we don’t know
that it’s going to rain, but it is looking
