LOADING DOCK LEVELERS

of loading dock levelers. With the use of structural
steel C channels and I beams, McGuire’s levelers
maintain strength and reliability for any loading
dock application.
More recently McGuire has led the way in
innovation with its CentraAir® (CA) Dock Leveler.
The CentraAir has the advantage of offering an
automatic push-button operation without the need
for an electrical infrastructure in the dock pit, as it
can operate completely off of compressed air.
VEHICLE RESTRAINTS
On June 1, 2017, McGuire announced the release of the all new TPR UniLock TM Vehicle Restraint.
With its internal safety mechanism, this new restraint is universally effective on any obstructed Rear
Impact Guard (RIG), including intermodal trailers with cover
plates.
Additionally, the UniLock is the only trailer-positioned restraint
on the market that can automatically release “RIG Wedge”
pressure without the truck having to reverse. RIG Wedge
occurs when momentum during loading causes the trailer
to creep forward and the trailer’s RIG applies so much
pressure to the restraint’s hook that the restraint is unable to
disengage without the trailer reversing.
The new UniLock Vehicle Restraint will help improve
productivity and safety at any loading dock.
