Tnemec names Wallace VP sales
Tnemec Company, a manufacturer of
high-performance
protective coatings for industrial
and specialized
architectural markets, has named
Terry Wallace vice
president of sales.
In this new role,

service. Wallace joined the company in
1999 with the acquisitor of
Chemprobe Technologies, where he
served as vice president and co-owner
of the coatings manufacturer.
NETZSCH APPOINTS ESTERLY TO
SALES MANAGEMENT POSITION
Netzsch Fine Particle Technology
LLC has appointed Chris Esterly
sales manager of
the mid-Atlantic
region. In his new
role, Esterly will
be responsible for
overseeing service
and sales support
throughout the Chris Esterly
region. He will
support customers in selecting cus-tom-engineered nano-grinding solutions for a variety of applications.
Esterly joined Netzsch in 2004 as a
sales engineer. Most recently, he
served as the company’s pharmaceutical sales specialist and interim lab
manager.
DOW, ANGUS NAME GLOBAL
SUPPLY CHAIN LEADER
Bryan Kitchen has been appointed
global supply chain leader for Dow
Biocides and Angus Chemical
Company. Kitchen is based in
Midland, MI where he is responsible
for creating and implementing supply
chain strategies with a focus on delivering margin expansion, improving
supply reliability and enabling growth
plans. Additionally, Kitchen will lead
the launch and institutionalization of
the global executive sales and operations planning work process which is
designed to harmonize plans for the
sales, production, inventory and financial functions. He will also manage the
impact of planned acquisitions and
lead operational synergy efforts.

marketing manager, North America.

East St. Louis facilities. Shuffett has
been with the company and involved
in resin synthesis for 38 years.

AZKONOBEL ANNOUNCES
PERSONNEL CHANGES
Jennifer Midura has been appointed
AkzoNobel’s director of corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Having joined the company following
the acquisition of ICI, Midura played a
key role in helping the board of management set the strategic agenda. She
previously was in charge of corporate
strategy at ICI for six years.
Maarten van den Bergh has
announced his resignation from both
being chairman and as a member of the
supervisory board of AkzoNobel, effective immediately. Karel Vuursteen will
be appointed chairman of the supervisory board.
BLACKMER APPOINTS
POPE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Blackmer has promoted Jim Pope to
director of finance. Pope joined
Blackmer 17 years ago. In his new
role, he will have overall responsibility for Blackmer’s accounting, information technology and distributor contact administration/export control
