VMI system: Apex Supply Chain Technologies
has introduced the Actylus smart bin system,
a new Kanban/VMI system to manage stock
and replace the need for manual counting,
flags, labels, and cards.
The smart bin technology is designed to
provide a solution to inventory replenishment
issues, sending automated alerts and reorder
notifications to suppliers to eliminate the
need for counting trips, safety stock, and
emergency orders. It aims to keep lines up
and running, boost supply chain productivity,
and grow bottom-line revenues.
Powered by Trajectory Cloud, a secure business intelligence platform that integrates and
connects existing systems, the Actylus smart
bin system improves
productivity, visibility,
reliability, and accessibility throughout a
business operation.

Pallet shipper system: Pelican BioThermal
has launched its new pallet shipper system,
Crēdo Cargo, the latest in its range of tem-perature-controlled packaging solutions for
the global market. Available in 1903 liters
and covering temperature ranges +2C to
+8C and +15C to +25C, Crēdo Cargo uses
phase-change material (PCM) coolants and
is designed specifically to accept a full ISO
pallet.
Through the use of PCM coolants, coupled
with the slot-in components designed for
rapid loading and unloading, Crēdo Cargo
ensures high performance and consistent
temperature stability in excess of 120 hours.
Its robust design makes it ideal for the rigors
of global logistics applications, the manufacturer says.
Crēdo Cargo is the latest addition to

services to provide for the safe transport of
pharmaceuticals, tissue, vaccines, and blood

Automated barrier door: To help prevent costly injuries and increase safety with
point-of-operation and perimeter guarding, Rite-Hite has introduced the Defender
Cell Safety Barrier. The Defender Cell is an automated barrier door that is designed
to restrict access to dangerous robot/machine movement while containing the process and offering greater protection for the machine operator.
According to the company, the Defender Cell reduces potential injuries from
flying debris, impact from moving parts, and drawing-in hazards. With its point-of-operation and perimeter guarding, the Defender Cell also improves safety,
