Turntable stretch wrapper: Muller LCS, a manufacturer of both equipment and material load containment solutions, has introduced an economical solution for wrapping pallets with its new Raptor HPL high-profile turntable stretch wrapper.

The Raptor HPL is an intuitive and reliable wrapper that has the additional benefits of having Muller’s popular branding tool, Logo Wrap, and a roping device built in. Logo Wrap, previously only available as an option for the Octopus line of ring stretch wrappers, will promote a company’s brand on pallet loads, can reduce tampering with its one-of-a-kind film, and can be applied anywhere on the load. In addition, Logo Wrap minimizes waste and labor typically involved with hand-applied stickers and labels, and maintains its durability by withstanding the outdoor elements. The roping device feature further ensures greater load containment by tying the load to the pallet.

The heavy-duty semiautomatic machine, which can wrap up
to 35 loads per hour, has an elevated turntable platform (ideal
for high debris and harsh environments), intuitive controls, and
an easy-to-use interface. In addition, the patented strain gauge
technology allows for electronic film feed and optimized han-
dling on pallet load corners. The turntable also contains a lubri-
cation-free power pre-stretch carriage with variable pre-stretch
levels from 100 percent to 300 percent, guaranteeing users
optimal film usage while preventing film breaks and product

Industrial cart: Conceptual Innovations, an engineering, consulting, and custom manufacturing firm, has announced the development of a customized motorized industrial cart that reduces the amount of force required to maneuver it.

The Drive Cart is a fully custom-built cart that can be designed to move up to 6,000 pounds of material. Engineers at Conceptual Innovations, a subsidiary of Caster Concepts, developed an easy-to-use and accessible control panel with simple forward and reverse switches, an emergency stop button, and a battery meter and power light. The Drive Cart’s tow hitch disengages the motor, allowing the cart to be towed by bigger vehicles.

Since the Drive Cart is built to order, no two carts are alike in design and use. The drive cart is ideal for any industrial challenge that requires a powered cart, the company says.
