DuPont offers new fluorotelomer products
DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise
has launched new fluorotelomer products for repellents and surfactants.
DuPont Capstone products are based
on short-chain chemistry and provide a
step-change reduction in trace impuri-ties below the limit of detection, offering customers the same or better performance than their predecessors without compromise in fluorine efficiency,
according to the company. Capstone
products also meet the goals of the U.S.
EPA 2010/15 Perfluorooctanoic (PFOA)
Stewardship Program and will be registered on global inventories in all
countries where they are sold.
Capstone products are currently available for home furnishings, fire fighting
foams, fluorosurfactants and leather

6756 to the North American market.
