Cognis makes organizational changes
Cognis has made a number of organizational changes to better align its strategy and intensify focus on key global
product groups in its radiation curing
business. Simon Poulton has been
appointed global product group manager acrylates. Poulton, who has 12 years
experience in various technical and
commercial roles related to acrylic technology, is now responsible for leading
the global market and asset strategies
to develop Cognis’ acrylic business.
Sophie Barnet has been promoted to
European product group manger acrylates. Barnet has ten years experience
in sales and marketing in the radiation
curing market and will now be focusing
on optimizing European asset and business performance.
Juergen Baro, who has currently
been platform leader radiation curing,
is now leading the Cognis European
technology platform team focusing on
innovation and customer support. Baro
has 17 years working on radiation curing technology.

Kelly-Moore Paint Company, Inc. has
appointed Arnie Knipp vice president of
sales. Knipp will report to Steve DeVoe,
president of Kelly-Moore Paints. Knipp
joined Kelly-Moore in 1989, taking an
inside sales position in San Bruno, CA.
Over his 27 year career, he has held a
variety of sales and management positions with increasing responsibilities.
Knipp most recently served as district
sales manager for Kelly-Moore Paints.
