BASF Selects Distributors
to Sell Vinyl Ether
Monomers and Carbonates
BASF Corporation has selected four distributors to have territorial exclusivity as
its sales channel for its vinyl ether monomers and carbonates designed for the inks
and coatings industries in North America.
The four distributors are M.F.
Cachat - Northeast region, Ribelin Sales
- South central region, GMZ - Midwest/
Ohio valley region and PT Hutchins -
Western region.

DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products
Company LLC has selected Archway
Sales, Inc. as its distribution partner to
represent the Susterra 1,3-propanediol
product line in the U.S. market. With the
additional states of Arizona, California,
Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico,
Oregon and Washington added to its existing territory; Archway now covers the
entire United States as the authorized distributor for Susterra.
Susterra 1,3-propanediol provides
leading manufacturers the ability to replace petroleum-derived materials with
high-performance, biobased solutions
that can significantly reduce the environmental impact of their products.
DSM Partners with Empire
Supply for Distribution of
Floor Coatings in North
America
DSM and Empire Supply of Houston,
Texas have entered into a distribution
and supply agreement for DSM’s UVolve
UV field applied floor coatings for North
America. DSM transferred all direct
sales activities of UVolve Instant Floor
Coatings in North America to Empire
Supply. Empire Supply will market and
sell the full line of UVolve products:
• UVolve 1873 Floor Guard, a single-
coat system for vinyl and vinyl com-
position (VCT) flooring;
• UVolve Clarity, a clear coat system
for concrete and terrazzo with a
high gloss or satin finish;
• UVolve 2613 Vivid, a waterborne-epoxy, color system.
Empire Supply works extensively with
government facilities and many major
corporations in the Southwest region
of the United States. By expanding their
product portfolio with UVolve Instant
Floor Coatings, Empire Supply will bring
the region innovative solutions formulated for rapid return to service and enhanced sustainability.
With UVolve products, drying time
is eliminated with a pass of a UV light
unit—making your floor immediately
ready for use. All UVolve Instant Floor
Coatings are solvent-free and nonflammable, with near-zero volatile
organic compounds (VOCs), no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), and low

Anochrome to Provide
Greenkote Anti-corrosion
Coatings in UK
Greenkote PLC has announced a new
licensing agreement with Anochrome
Technologies Ltd. through which
Anochrome will provide Greenkote’s
advanced anti-corrosion coatings to customers in the UK.
Greenkote is a patented thermal diffusion process that applies proprietary
zinc-based coatings to ferrous metals
and alloys. In addition to blocking corrosion, Greenkote also increases wear
resistance, eliminates hydrogen embrittlement and improves adhesion to paints
and other topcoats. The Greenkote name
derives from its eco-friendliness, since
the process is completely free of acids,
chromium, heavy metals and other hazardous materials and it generates no
toxic byproducts.

long been a respected coating pro-
vider in the UK, and they have sig-
nificant experience in industries like
automotive, where Greenkote plays
an important role,” said Mark Gore,
PhD, Greenkote’s CEO, in making the
