Nestable SG Plastic Pallet. This product meets
the demand for a pallet that provides better
storage and enhanced productivity, reliability, and
durability.
The pallets are manufactured using high-pressure
injection molding, which offers advantages compared to
other manufacturing methods. With the custom-engineered
injection molding process, Rehrig Pacific can produce complex geometric shapes,
maintain precise tolerances, and reinforce specific areas of the pallet that receive the
most abuse. The company uses a proprietary blend of materials for the Nestable SG
Pallet to improve impact resistance and overall strength.
These new pallets are engineered to carry heavy loads with no flowering, no
breakage, and greater impact resistance, so handling is easy and safe. The result is
solid performance in both automated and traditional distribution systems, higher
productivity, and substantial savings.
Design enhancements to the Nestable SG Plastic Pallet include highly beveled
leading edges around the rim that allow easier entry by fork lifts into a stack of nested pallets. Large surface areas on the leg bottoms improve conveying. Eight
ergonomically located handles have been added to accommodate hand stacking.
The pallets’ top decks are scuffed to reduce slippage, and a better nesting ratio saves
space in shipping, storage, and back-hauling. Nesting leg options allow for seamless

Mobile RFID printing: Zebra Technologies Corp.,

identification solutions, has introduced the Zebra
P4T and RP4T mobile printers. These easy-to-wear and -carry units are suitable for indoor and
outdoor applications in logistics, manufacturing,
transportation, and mobile field service.
The Zebra RP4T is shipped with RFID functionality, while the P4T is RFID-upgradeable. This
means that the printers have the capability to
print EPC-compliant passive UHF RFID Class 1,
Gen 2 labels at any location. They also offer
capabilities for enhanced connectivity and productivity, including Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11g
wireless options, and state-of-the-art WPA2 security for enhanced data protection and user
authentication.
