Operator friendly: Hyster Co. introduces the E45-70XN line
of electric lift trucks. With several design enhancements and
improved styling, the E45-70XN line offers numerous advantages in quality and ergonomics that make it an operator-friendly line of lift trucks. It features a remodeled operator
compartment with increased foot and leg room
and a removable floor plate for quick maintenance.
The truck’s ergonomically improved compartment also
has a relocated dash display for enhanced visibility and pallet control, while a
redesigned hood provides maximum battery service access to reduce downtime.
The hood’s new design also allows easy access for the driver when entering and exiting the truck.
A new Traction Motor, designed with steel skin and cast end bells to allow for maximum air flow, features improved speed sensors to provide accurate speed monitoring over the full motor operating temperature range. The entire line has been subjected to comprehensive environmental and electrical testing to ensure the vehicles
meet and exceed all international standards for industrial lift trucks.
Durable parts and control systems, customizable software, and expert truck optimization additionally enhance the performance and productivity of the Hyster AC-pow-ered lift trucks, while reducing maintenance costs and downtime. (Hyster Co.,

Portable power: Newcastle Systems’ NB Series
Mobile Powered Workstation is designed to hold
and power a variety of equipment, including computers, industrial printers, and bar-code scanners.
This mobile workstation allows operators to perform their tasks wirelessly within a facility, warehouse, or distribution center. Typical applications
for the NB Series include inventory management,
mobile on-demand label printing, shipping and
receiving, and cross docking.
The NB Series Workstation eliminates unnecessary foot travel to and from a static workstation.
Since the workstation can be moved close to work,
important information is always readily available.
The NB Series Workstation is easy to maneuver anywhere in a facility. With a compact 24-
inch-wide by 22-inch-deep footprint, this
ergonomically designed workstation can also be
positioned easily into the most remote corners.
Its standard power package includes a 40 or
100 amp hour battery, a 350 or 750 watt inverter, and a full 20 amp charger. It can power up to
four devices at once for about six to eight hours
of normal use.
A number of optional accessories are available
and can be easily integrated for a versatile workstation. Accessories include an adjustable keyboard tray, a post-mounted flat screen holder, a
laptop or tablet holder, a scanner holder, add-on
push handles, a binder holder, and a CPU holder. (Newcastle Systems, (781) 935-3450,

Pallet builder: FKI Logistex has launched the PL-
950 Series hybrid in-line palletizer. The PL-950
uses one or more robotic arms for pattern forming, making it suitable for handling small finished
case sizes, multiple product formats, and complex patterns.
Designed with high speed and flexibility in mind,
the PL-950 Series is capable of achieving packaging rates in excess of 100 cases per minute. New
patterns can be programmed from the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), allowing for fast and easy
product reconfiguration and quick line changeover.
The PL-950 also gently handles products with minimal secondary packaging without compromising
the integrity of the finished product.
The PL-950 Series is available in two models,
the PL-951 and the PL-952, each with the
option of one or two robotic arms. The PL-951
model features a single layer accumulation zone
for high-speed applications, while the PL-952
model includes two layer accumulation zones
for very high-speed applications. (FKI Logistex,
