another green pallet option
Re: “how green are your pallets?” November 2008
I just finished reading the article on wood
vs. plastic pallets and how to judge their
“greenness.” I was a little miffed that paper
pallets, which we believe to be a fairly sus-tainable/green product, were not explored
as an alternative.
EcoDuro has teamed with Cascades to
manufacture a paper pallet made from
100 percent recycled paper, and we use
cold-melt glues that are fully repulpa-ble/recyclable.
Although we are a small part of the
market, we are a growing alternative
to wood and plastic, and I think it’s only
fair to let your readers know there are alternatives.
Thank you for your time and keep up the good work. The more
we all understand, the better.
