Conveyor equipment: Verti-Lift has introduced a full
line of scissor lift tables, turntables, and tilt tables with
conveyors of virtually any type built in to optimize production, ergonomics, and operator safety. The company
works closely with distributors and systems integrators to
design, build, and integrate their material handling equipment with ball transfer conveyors, gravity roller conveyors,
heavy-duty chain-driven live roller conveyors (CDLR), and
more.
All Verti-Lift conveyor-equipped equipment features
easily accessible internal power units, heavy-duty cylinders, hand or foot controls, heavy-duty tubular frames,
heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders, and lifetime lubricated
kingpin bearings to ensure a long service life with no
maintenance. Optional accessories, which can be added to
suit particular requirements, include accordion skirts, oversized platform, portability package, a variety of conveyor
tops, PLC control, and external power supply. (Verti-Lift

DC conveyor system: Hytrol has introduced its new
E24 product line, which is a 24-volt DC conveyor system
that utilizes a pancake motor to drive rollers. This system
is quiet, operator-friendly, energy efficient, and maintenance free, while offering six times the life of motorized
roller systems.
Twenty-four volt motor-driven roller (MDR) conveyors
are being widely used due to their simplicity and flexibility. Since the drive train is distributed along the conveyor
length, a single piece of equipment can perform multiple
functions. This includes different speeds, multiple directions, and starting/stopping individual sections.
Until now, service was a major determining factor in
selecting MDR equipment. Hytrol’s E24 has been designed
from the ground up to provide the best 24-volt conveyor
drive technology in existence. (Hytrol Conveyor Co. Inc.,

Roller conveyor: Lewco Inc. recently developed a
custom powered chain-driven live roller conveyor mounted
to a lift table to allow a client, a manufacturer of building
panels, to use this piece of equipment as a “buffer zone”
at the end of the production line, where the panels are
coated and then stacked.
A completed stack can weigh as much as 10,000
pounds. Once the stack is prepared, the unit raises using
the lift table and shifts the stack onto a powered transfer
car with ease, using this custom chain-driven live roller
conveyor with six-inch diameter rollers. The transfer car
then moves the product to a storage area as the process
repeats throughout the day.
The company says the product is cost effective and built
to the highest industry standards. Reduction in manual
material handling, improved product flow, better ergonomics, and elimination of shipping damage are just some
of the benefits of this Lewco conveyor. (Lewco, www.

Z-frame conveyor:
Dorner’s new 2200 LPZ
Z-frame conveyor comes
with one or two pivot points and
features an extremely low profile
to fit under machinery or in any
other tight spots.
The 2200 LPZ is Dorner’s lowest profile Z-frame conveyor and is
the first such offering in the newly
redesigned 2200 Series platform. The
advantage of the 2200 LPZ is that its
sleek, narrow profile enables it to be
positioned under machinery where other conveyors wouldn’t fit, making it ideal for part removal
and product handling in packaging, metalworking, automation, medical, pharmaceutical, and other general manufacturing applications. The pivot points on the conveyor
provide added flexibility as it can be configured in Z-frame,
horizontal-to-incline, and nose-over positions.
The 2200 LPZ is the second of four new platforms being
introduced as part of Dorner’s newly redesigned 2200
Series platform. In April, Dorner relaunched the original
2200 Series to include new features such as a redesigned
frame, additional belting, and expanded guiding to make
the platform stronger, faster, and more flexible for handling small to medium-sized part applications. The third
and fourth conveyors in the redesigned 2200 Series are
expected to be available later this year. (Dorner, www.
