Camera-to-light cable: Smart Vision Lights, a designer and manufacturer of high-brightness LED lights for industrial applications,
has announced that its camera-to-light (CTL) Grey Series of cables
are now available for cameras made by Baumer and other OEMs
(original equipment manufacturers).
The CTL Grey Series cable provides a directly wired connection
between a single light and the Baumer VeriSens XC series camera. The CTL series is available
for either steady/constant or flash/strobe connections, and the cables are available in lengths of
0.3 meters ( 1 foot) and two meters ( 6. 6. feet), with other lengths available by request.
Both CTL cables offer a standard M8 and M12 connection. The CTL Grey Series steady/constant camera cable offers power and ground sync and is compatible with constant-operation
lights made by Smart Vision Lights. The CTL Grey Series flash/strobe cable is compatible with
Smart Vision Lights’ OverDrive series of lights and offers power, ground, and flash sync.
The CTL Grey Series is also available for other cameras, including Datalogic, Teledyne Dalsa’s
BOA, Sick’s Inspector, and Cognex’s In-Sight and Dataman models. (Smart Vision Lights, www.

Reusable plastic containers: Polymer Logistics has introduced a new series of reusable plastic
containers designed to look like they’re made from wicker. The Wicker-Look RPC follows the
first-to-market Polymer Logistics Wood Grain RPC series, which started the trend of nonindustrial containers. They will be available in all standard sizes in Europe and other markets by the
end of 2016.
Polymer Logistics Wicker-Look RPCs have the “Active Lock” system that secures the containers when erected but allows panels to fold easily and quietly when the lock is released. They
are foldable and stackable to maximize truck and store space, and are lightweight for easy
handling. The RPCs are more environmentally sustainable than traditional packaging and offer
significant cost savings when compared with disposable boxes, the manufacturer says. They
are compatible with the Polymer Logistics pallet and dolly line for easy maneuverability and
placement on the retail floor, and are made of an easy-to-clean material that resists moisture,

Dock seals: Entrematic has expanded the company’s line of Kelley loading dock seals with its new ArmorGuard models ADS-HP and ADS-HC
loading dock seals.
Featuring exclusive Kelley SHARC (super high abrasion resistant compound) fabric, the ADS-HP and ADS-HC dock seals provide superior
wear resistance and stand up over time to the most abrasive movements
caused by air ride suspensions and intermodal trailers, the company
says.
In addition to ArmorGuard’s SHARC wear-resistant fabric, the ADS-HP
dock seal features its exclusive Kelley Wear Master Head Pad with a full-width SHARC wear face and four-inch exposure wear panels where the
toughest contact with trailers occurs. The head pad, which counters the
prying effect of trailer movement and yard spotters, includes heat-sealed
full-length yellow guide stripes embedded in and welded (not sewn) into the SHARC fabric.
The Kelley ArmorGuard ADS-HC dock seal features the same SHARC fabric along with an
EFC (encapsulated foam chamber) head curtain with one- by three-inch chambers that provide a superior seal for trailer tops compared with standard head curtains. (Entrematic, www.
