Archroma, a global manufacturer of color
and specialty chemicals, and the former
textile, paper and emulsions businesses of
Clariant, has named Stephan Sielaff chief
operating officer.
Based in Reinach, Switzerland,
Sielaff will oversee the business’ global
production, manufacturing and integrated supply chain activities, ensuring
the highest level of performance and
efficiency to meet the company’s commitment to world-class standards and
high service levels, it was reported.
Sielaff has spent the past eight years
with Symrise, most recently as the senior
vice president Global Operations of the
Flavor and Nutrition business. Previously
Sielaff held various roles in supply chain,
innovation and engineering, as well as
marketing at Unilever.
Majewski Appointed
Chief Executive Officer of
ChromaScape
George M. Chase, chairman and CEO
of ChromaScape, Inc., has relinquished
the title of CEO. Chase will continue as
ChromaScape’s chairman of the board
of directors, while focusing on company expansion through organic growth
and acquisition.
Joseph S. Majewski will assume the
role of CEO for the company. Majewski
currently serves as president and chief
operating officer, and has fostered the
organizational development, growth, and
sustainability of ChromaScape since joining the leadership team in 2004.
Cortazzo Named VP Sales
for Keim Mineral Coatings
of America
Steven Cortazzo was named vice
president of sales for Keim Mineral
Coatings of America, Inc. His responsibilities include corporate branding
and business development in the New
York metro region including New York
and New Jersey.
Cortazzo is a veteran of the building
industry with more
than 35 years of experience in building
restoration in New
York on some of
the most high profile structures in the
city, including two
decades with Kemper System America as
managing director.
Munsch Joins Englert As
Tolling Sales Manager
Michael Munsch has joined Englert, Inc.,
a leading supplier of coated coil products
to the building products industry, as tolling sales manager.
Munsch has nearly 30 years of sales
experience in the coil coating industry
with coil coaters including Brightsmith
Coil Coaters and Pre-Finished Metals,
Inc. and with coating suppliers including AkzoNobel Coatings and Valspar
Corporation.
In his new role, Munsch will be responsible for Englert’s toll coating program for a wide variety of industries
including building products, automotive
aftermarket products, HVAC equipment,
coil and sheet distributors and mills.
CeralUSA Signs Traynor to
Market Coating Product
Line
CeralUSA, LLC, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly coatings for the
aerospace, power generation and oil and
gas industries, recently signed a representation agreement with Ted Traynor.
Traynor is an industry veteran with
more than 40 years of sales, marketing
and business development experience in
all aspects of the gas turbine industry.
He has served as marketing manager
for Pratt and Whitney Power Systems,
an OEM involved in adapting aero en-
gines for power generation and pipeline
transmission operation. Prior to that,
Traynor served as sales manager for
Westinghouse Power Generation, an
industrial OEM involved in the sale of
large turbine power plants.
Traynor will continue in his role as
business development consultant for
CeralUSA’s joint venture partner, Liburdi
Turbine Services of Dundas, Ontario,
promoting its specialized line of erosion-resistant compressor coatings and advanced repairs for turbine life extension.
Traynor’s role at CeralUSA will strengthen the synergy between the companies’
complementary product lines.
