SHOW 2014 PREVIEW
H The Georgia World Congress Center
will be the new venue of the American
Coatings SHOW (ACS) 2014, which will
be held April 8-10 in Atlanta. The show
will offer a complete portfolio for the
production of high-grade, competitive
coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives.
Cheryl Matthews, Vice President, Events
and Professional Development at the
American Coatings Association (ACA), is
sure that attendees and exhibitors of the
2014 AC SHOW and CONFERENCE will have
an unprecedented experience, as the
show continues to grow and make modi-
fications. “For the first time, exhibitors
have the ability to apply for their booth
space utilizing a new interactive floor
plan. They are able to choose their booth
location and modify their profiles on-
line,” says Matthews. “Expectations are
high, particularly since the ACS 2012 was
honored as one of Americas 25 fastest
growing exhibitions, we all are very ex-
cited to see if this show can actually be-
come any more successful than the last
one,” Matthias Janz, Head of Coatings
Events at Vincentz Network, stresses.
But numbers are looking promising. Most
exhibitors have increased their booth
size, which truly shows the importance
of the ACS to the coatings industry. With
this in mind we are confident that show
visitor and conference attendee counts
alike will also reach new heights.” At the
2012 show held in Indianapolis, Ind., 427
exhibitors from 19 countries displayed a
comprehensive range
of products on 91,000
net square feet of ex-
hibit space. ACS 2012
attracted more than
7,500 participants
from 69 countries.
