CarryPick mobile system: Swisslog’s CarryPick is designed to
be flexible, scalable, and easily adjustable to changing demands in
warehousing. The automated storage and goods-to-person order
picking system consists of just four components: mobile racks, automated guided vehicles, Swisslog’s ProPick workstations, and the
company’s warehouse management system, WM 6. The system’s
modular concept allows CarryPick to fit into existing logistics infrastructure and makes it both scalable and expandable.
In daily operations, the multifunctional workstations are continually supplied with mobile racks by automated guided vehicles.
Controlled and monitored by the WM 6 warehouse management
system, CarryPick combines storage with replenishment and picking
functionality, and handles returns efficiently.
