Axalta Coating Systems has introduced
a new urethane primer and polyurethane
clearcoat to expand its Rival economy
paint brand family that offers just the
right mix of value and performance for
shops in the commercial vehicle industry.
Rival RV400 Urethane Primer is
designed to be fast-drying and easy-to-sand with good fill properties. It is recommended for use over properly treated
substrates such as aluminum, steel, fiberglass and plastic. RV400 Urethane
Primer can be mixed using existing Rival
activators to achieve both 2.1 lbs/gal and
3. 5 lbs/gal volatile organic compounds
(VOC) levels.
When customers desire added durability and protection, Rival RV500
Polyurethane Clearcoat is recommended
for use over Rival topcoat. It is intended
for use on overall applications to provide
a high performance, high-gloss shine.
RV500 Polyurethane Clearcoat is also
