Helios Group is the leading manufacturer of coatings in South Eastern Europe with approximately 3,000 employ- ees in more than thirty companies in fourteen countries. Helios Group recently made three major investments: a car refinishing coatings center and production plant for water-based coatings, and a center for metal coatings. The production plant for water-based coatings comprises 3.500 square meters of net usable areas and consists of technological part with mixing plant, grain room, manufacture and filling room. The center for metal coatings, valued at €2.5 million is located in Preska at Medvode on 1.270 square meters of net usable areas. Two of Helios’s production locations for metal coatings are included in it, as well as the development, sales and technical service.

Ennis-Flint manufactures and distributes pavement-marking materials. It offers traffic paints; hot-applied thermoplastics, such as alkyd thermoplastics and hydrocarbon thermoplastics; raised pavement markers; plural components; crosswalks and traffic calming solutions; green bike lane treatments; and detectable warning products. The company also offers preformed thermoplastic pavement markings that are used for transverse markings, such as crosswalks, legends, arrows, symbols, interstate shields and more. Ennis-Flint acquired the Australian colored surfacing specialists, TCP. With operating facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane, TCP has been a cornerstone of the Australian colored surfacing market for more than 35 years. The company also entered into a formal strategic partnership with Quest Construction Products, Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of specialty coatings.

Betek Boya ve Kimya Sanayi AS, whose name is the combi- nation of the first syllables of the Turkish words “Beton” (concrete) and “Teknoloji” (technology), was founded in 1988. Betek entered the decorative paints industry in 1993 through its technological cooperation with DAW. Betek was the first Turkish paint company that commenced production with a European partner. Betek has been the market leader in the industry with its multi-brand strategy which is being delivered to more than 5,000 retail outlets. The company currently has 1,000 employees. Betek has a technology center founded in 2008. RMI, Scientific Research Center tests and certifies products in the fields of decorative paint and thermal insulation products. Betek has been adopting environmental protection and health standards of European Community since 1993 for all the products manufactured.
