Mauser Group acquires Varicon
Solutions manufacturer and

Mauser Group, a worldwide industrial pack-
aging company, has acquired Varicon Solu-
tions in North America. Mauser will
take over the plastic packaging part
of the business, which includes

drums made out of virgin as well as of PCR
resin (post consumer resin), while National
Container Group (NCG), a Mauser sub-
sidiary, will assume the reconditioning activi-

Americas to be renamed KH

On April 1, 2012, exactly one year after its
initial launch, Kyowa Hakko Chemical
Americas, Inc. will be renamed KH
Neochem Americas, Inc. The company will
continue to operate from it current corporate offices in Schaumburg, Ill, United
States. The move is concurrent with that of
Tokyo-based parent company Kyowa
Hakko Chemical Co., Ltd., which will officially change its name to KH Neochem,
Ltd. on that same date. KH Neochem
Americas’ broad line of products includes
synthetic fatty acids, specialty diols, functional monomers and other high-performance chemicals based on proprietary
synthesis technologies. Lubricants, adhesives, agricultural chemicals, coatings, cosmetics and toiletries are among the many

subsidiary in China. From April 1, 2012,
RAHN Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. will
