Powder Flow Tester (PFT), as-
suming responsibility for sales of
the PFT in the Ameri-
cas and coordinating
worldwide sales with
Brookfield’s interna-
tional offices. Hebert
has been the lead sales
engineering specialist
for launch of the new
Powder Flow Tester.
Since joining Brookfield Engineering in
2007, he has also managed all educational
seminars and since November 2009, training programs for Brookfield. Hebert has
more than 25 years of experience in product testing, marketing, technical support
and sales. Prior to joining Brookfield, he
was employed at Measurement Computing
Corp. in Norton, Massachusetts.

Archway Sales, Inc. new
management structure and
recent hires
David Baumstark has taken over the role
as president of Archway Sales. Over the
past several years, Baumstark held the
leading management role within Archway’s marketing and strategy committees
while directing all of the company’s sales
efforts. In his new role, he will also oversee principal management efforts.
Additionally, as part of this role adjustment, Jack Baumstark Jr. has taken
over the role as vice president of Archway
Sales. He will continue to oversee all marketing efforts as well as responsibility for
identifying acquisition targets.
Jack Baumstark Sr. will begin serving
as chairman of Archway Sales, overseeing Archway’s long term corporate
strategic planning. This will include acquisition negotiations, financing and distribution agreements.
The company also named Aaron Rath
as a principal manager. Rath joins Archway
Sales with a strong background in industrial chemistry and sales management.
With two degrees in chemistry he entered
the chemical business in 2000 and has
hands-on experience in urethane and coatings technology that has yielded papers and
a patent for his first employer, BASF Corp.
In other personnel news Charles DiComo has joined Archway Sales, Inc. as a
technical sales representative for the northeast region. DiComo has over 12 years’ experience in sales. He will be responsible for
growing sales in the southern New York
and New Jersey area. Angie Seasholtz has
joined Archway Sales, Inc. in the southern
region. She is a member of Archway’s sales
support team based out of Atlanta, Ga.
Eric Barta has been promoted to regional
sales manager for the midwest region. He
has been a technical sales representative in
the midwest region for the last eight years
and has more than 20 years’ experience in
sales. John Darcy has joined Archway
Sales as a network support specialist and
will be assisting internal personnel with information technology projects and support. Lastly, Lindsay Smith has joined
Archway Sales as the assistant regulatory
manager whose responsibilities include assisting sales, customer service and external
customers with the necessary regulatory
information and processes.
Archway Sales is a specialty chemical
distributor, established in 1968, serving
the CASE, polyurethane, graphic arts
and consumer care markets east of the
Rocky Mountains.
AkzoNobel announces
board changes
AkzoNobel has announced a number of
personnel changes in its governance structure. Two new supervisory board members
will be nominated for election by shareholders at the 2012 annual general meeting
of shareholders, while Rob Frohn, board of
management member responsible for specialty chemicals, will leave the company.
The proposed two new supervisory board
members are Sari Baldauf, currently non-executive chairman of the board of Fortum
Oyj and director at several other companies, and Ben Verwaayen, currently CEO of
Alcatel-Lucent. Baldauf has senior executive experience building and running global
businesses at Nokia Corporation. She holds
a number of non-executive positions, including at Daimler AG, alongside her role
at Fortum Oyi. Likewise, Verwaayen has
many years’ experience in international
businesses, including as CEO of BT Group
and as managing director of KPN in the
Netherlands. In addition, Baroness Bot-tomley will step down from her position on
the supervisory board after having served
the company as a supervisory board member for 12 years. The departure will become
effective on May 1, 2012. Werner
Fuhrmann, executive committee member
responsible for supply chain and sourcing,
will manage specialty chemicals until
Frohn’s successor is identified.

TechSolve board of directors
Steven Shifman, president and CEO of
Michelman, Inc., has
been appointed to
serve on the TechSolve board of directors. As a TechSolve
board member Shifman will provide
guidance on TechSolve’s overall strategic direction, mission
and growth plan. He will also participate
in delegating responsibilities to the TechSolve executive committee, officers and
staff. Since joining Michelman in 1992,
Shifman has held multiple corporate positions in sales management, business unit
management, chief financial officer, and
since 2003 has been president and CEO.

Wright worked for

for more than 20 years, serving as vice president of sales the last five. His experience includes cross discipline teamwork from

arts, plastics and coatings markets.
