FAS-MARK CAP & COVER PAINT FROM GASOILA
Gasoila Chemicals, a specialty chemical division of Federal
Process Corporation, recently released a brand-new line of
Fas-Mark Cap and Cover Paint, an acrylic, upside down spray
paint for the retail petroleum market. Used primarily to mark
and identify manhole and tank cover valves, Fas-Mark Cap
and Cover Paint features a specially designed cap that enables
fast, upside down application with little or no over spray.
Product can be applied directly to metal and other clean, dry
surfaces. The formula is VOC compliant and can be used on
manhole covers, tank valves, island forms, structural steel,
storage tanks, equipment and more. Fas-Mark is available in
15-ounce aerosol cans, 12 cans to a case.
CADDY ARMOUR CORROSION
PROTECTION COATING SYSTEM
Erico has launched Caddy Armour, a new corrosion protection system for steel parts that is UL Recognized and RoHS
compliant. Caddy Armour is a chrome-free, bi-metallic corrosion protection coating system that combines an inorganic
basecoat for sacrificial protection with an organic topcoat for
barrier protection. Utilizing a state-of-the-art, computer-con-trolled process, the coating is applied consistently to each
part, enabling up to 10 times greater corrosion resistance
performance.
GLASURIT DEVELOPS NEW BUS CLEAR SYSTEM
Glasurit has developed a special-purpose bus clear system.
The new system consists of Glasurit 924-168 HS Bus Clear
plus the 352-168 Reducer – together, these two products
ensure even greater gloss and purity.
The products feature improved flow properties, a high
degree of purity and excellent gloss. In addition, the paint
also features UV protection that ensures excellent color stability, it resists chemical attack and is scratch-proof and
easy to polish. Blemishes such as dust inclusions can be
easily removed. The new system supplements the 924-68
CV Clear and optimizes its visual characteristics, leaving all its other properties—such as processing reliability and good adhesion properties—quite unchanged. CW
