Eliokem is a specialty chemical company that manufactures and markets on a global basis specialty emulsion polymers for the paint and coating industry, elastomeric modifiers for plastics, antioxidants for polymer protection, vinyl pyridine latex for tire cord adhesion and synthetic nitrile elastomers for rubber reinforcement.

• Paint & Coatings (exterior and interior masonry
coatings, floor coatings, cure and seals, intumescent

TECHNOLOGIES:

Eliokem’s core technical competencies include:
• Emulsion polymerization process and products
• Formulating know how in a variety of end use application
such as paints and coatings, thermoplastic compounds,
thermoplastic elastomers, latex articles, toners
• Compounding of vulcanized rubbers

TECHNICAL SERVICES:

Eliokem has two state of the art technical centers, one in Villejust France, and the other in Akron, Ohio USA. The technical centers support the manufacturing facilities in Le Havre, France, Ningbo, China, Valia, India and Akron, Ohio, USA. The two R&D technical centers are supported by customer technical service facilities in Ningbo, Valia, India and Shanghai, China. Both the technical centers have a long history of new product innovation and close cooperation with customers to develop new applications.

MAJOR PRODUCTS:

Eliokem has a product portfolio with very strong market positions and well-known brands.

• Specialty Resins – Pliolite® Plioway® Pliotec®‚ Hydro Pliolite® resins and latex for paint, coatings and rubber reinforcement as well as the Pliotone®‚ range of resins for electrographic toner.

• Elastomeric Modifiers – Chemigum®‚ nitrile rubber powders and Sunigum®‚ acrylic elastomers for plastic modification.

• Specialty Latex – Pliocord®‚ VP latex for dipped tire cord and Chemigum®‚ nitrile latex for oil resistant gaskets.

• Antioxidants – Wingstay® non-staining antidegradants used to protect latex articles, synthetic rubber or plastics.

• Rubber Reinforcement – Chemigum® NBR bale or PVC polyblends and Pliolite® SBR polymers for rubber reinforcemnt, footware and automotive.
