polyamide to acrylate thickener is 10:1
to 1.5:1 and wherein the rheological assistant is 2%-15% by weight based on
total binder solids.

40 microns, and wherein the primer
coating optionally is comprised of alkali
metal silicate at a weight ratio of alkali
metal silicate to silica sol of less than
0.1; and, wherein the silica sol further
contains an organic resin, in an amount
of from 1% to 35% by weight, based on
solid binder, wherein the organic resin is
a latex.

a patent for a method of forming a vibration damping paint layer comprised
of applying an emulsion paint on a surface where the vibration damping layer
is desired, of 1˜ 5 mm thickness, the
emulsion paint is comprised of greater
than 77.0% weight of a solid portion,
40˜50% volume of pigment, and 2˜14%
volume of large sized pigment having a
diameter of 40˜100 μm, and heating the
vibration damping paint layer at a temperature lower than 140° C for less than
25 minutes.
