headquarters located in Port-Said and chanced its name to Kapci
Coatings. In 2011 Kapci generated revenue of $143 million. Car
refinishes accounted for 51 percent of sales; architectural and
decorative coatings made up 32 percent; and wood finishes accounted for the remaining 17 percent. Kapci Coatings’ production facility is located on 210,000 square meters of space where
the company has an annual production capacity of roughly
80,000 tons per year. The company is consistently the number
one paints producer in Egypt by turnover. Kapci Coatings is currently exporting its paint products to more than 42 countries
around the world. In addition, it has established four branches
in China, India, Brazil and the UAE to extend its global reach.
