Origin Electric Co., Ltd. operates in three segments: Elec- tronics, Mechatronics and Chemitronics. The Chemitron- ics division is supported by metal surface treatment and
surface plating technologies as well as by Origin's long history of research and development in the fields of electronics and coating materials. Energy-saving measures jointly developed with other
engineering groups have resulted in developments being achieved in
the field of synthetic resin paints, which have attracted attention

company operates primarily in Japan, as well as internationally in
Taipei, Hong Kong, the U.S. and China. Origin began developing

Since 1921, Tnemec Company Inc. has been a leading man- ufacturer of high-performance architectural and industrial coatings that protect a wide range of substrates and enhance aesthetics. From water tanks and treatment plants, to
manufacturing plants, industrial facilities and specialty architectural buildings, Tnemec coatings can be found protecting virtually all types of structures and buildings. Tnemec operates
three manufacturing facilities in the U.S. in North Kansas City,
MO, Baltimore, MD and Garland, TX. It generated roughly
$125 million in sales in 2011. All Glass Armor epoxy linings for
aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) were renamed Tank Armor
following the purchase of the 100 percent solids thick-film technology from Bridgeport Chemical by Tnemec during the year.

Since its beginnings in 1958, Paints and Chemical Industries (PACHIN) has been a pioneer in the Egyptian paint and coat- ings industry. Its core business is the production of various
types of architectural and decorative coatings, industrial paints,
printing inks and alkyd resins. In 2011 PACHIN reported revenue
of $119.3 million. The company says it is the market leader in the
Egyptian decorative paints market with a 41 percent share.
PACHIN maintains a strategic alliance with the AkzoNobel in
which PACHIN is licensed to manufacture and sell various products
on behalf of AkzoNobel under the Dulux trademark. Recently
PACHIN concluded an agreement to be the sole distributor of
Chugoku Marine Paints in Egypt. PACHIN also has a strategic alliance with NovaColor, a leading Italian manufacturer of decorative products.
